TRICON Garage Restructures Ahead of NASCAR 2025

TRICON Garage is undergoing a strategic restructuring ahead of the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, focusing on strengthening its competitive framework. Jake Hampton has been appointed as the crew chief for the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, while Derek Smith will lead rookie Toni Breidinger in the No. 5 truck. Scott Zipadelli continues with the No. 11 team alongside Corey Heim, providing a sense of continuity among other changes. Jeff Hensley joins Tanner Gray's No. 15 team, and Jerame Donley will oversee rookie driver Gio Ruggiero in the No. 17 entry.

Gio Ruggiero, an 18-year-old prospect from Seekonk, Massachusetts, has signed with TRICON to drive the No. 17 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, aiming for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award after a successful stint in the ARCA Menards Series. His teammate, Toni Breidinger, is also set to make her full-time debut in 2025 in the No. 5 truck, building on her historic performance as the highest-placing female debut driver in the series. Breidinger, who has garnered attention for her racing and social media presence, previously secured a notable 4th place in the ARCA championship standings. Together, Ruggiero, Breidinger, Corey Heim, and Tanner Gray will form the full-time driver lineup for TRICON in the upcoming season.
