Acosta Optimistic About KTM's MotoGP Future

Pedro Acosta has expressed optimism about KTM's MotoGP project following the recent Sepang test, despite the manufacturer's financial difficulties. He noted that the testing and development confirmed that "everything is fine," with approximately 60% of the race bike already complete. Acosta finished the test in sixth place and emphasized the importance of selecting the best components to create a competitive package for the upcoming races.

While Acosta acknowledged some challenges during the test, he was satisfied with improvements in the bike's performance, particularly in braking precision. He highlighted the need for ongoing development to enhance competitiveness and plans to fine-tune the bike's setup in preparation for the next test in Thailand. Despite uncertainty surrounding a critical creditors' vote regarding KTM's restructuring, Acosta remains focused and positive, stating that overcoming tire-related issues during his sprint simulation allowed him to establish a commendable pace.
