Aflac Returns as Doug Kalitta's Sonoma Nationals Sponsor

Aflac Incorporated renewed its partnership with Kalitta Motorsports and will serve as the primary sponsor on Doug Kalitta’s Top Fuel car at the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals presented by PowerEdge, scheduled for July 17-19 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California. The announcement extends Aflac’s role with Team Kalitta as the season continues.

Kalitta, a two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion, competes for the three-car Kalitta Motorsports team in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Aflac Senior Vice President Richard Siebert said the company was pleased to continue the relationship for another season.

Siebert said Aflac’s fast claims service and Kalitta’s racing approach are similar. Kalitta Motorsports General Manager Chad Head said Aflac’s return was good news for the team and for NHRA Drag Racing overall.
