Airbnb becomes official lodging partner for five NASCAR tracks

    Summary

Airbnb will be the official lodging partner for five NASCAR tracks beginning with the 2027 season, embedding Airbnb listings directly into each track’s website to simplify fan lodging and travel planning. The announcement was made this week in South Carolina at events at the State Capitol in Columbia and at a public event near Darlington Raceway.

The agreement covers Bristol Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Organizers said the track-hosted listings will help fans, especially families and groups, find accommodations for major race weekends and address lodging gaps in rural racing markets that often lack hotel inventory. Airbnb noted that about 63 percent of U.S. tracks already have listings on its platform. Bristol president and general manager Jerry Caldwell said the deal will expand more-affordable lodging options across the Tri-Cities market, and Airbnb executive Adam Alfandary said the partnership helps local hosts in towns with limited hotel capacity capture race-weekend economic activity.

Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR are working jointly with Airbnb on the fan-facing integrations, which organizers described as Airbnb’s first formal track partnership and a move toward venue-level, fan-focused sponsorships that fold short-term rental inventory into tracks’ ticketing and hospitality funnels. This announcement is unrelated to on-track sessions such as FP1, Q3 or the Race and has no impact on championship standings.
