Blaney Edges Wallace by 0.068 Seconds in Georgia

Ryan Blaney won the NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 at EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, taking the lead for good off Turn 2 in overtime and beating Bubba Wallace by 0.068 seconds. The victory was Blaney’s second of the 2026 season, and it came after he also won the pole with a lap at 179.912 mph, his 14th career Cup pole and second pole of the year.

Blaney controlled much of the race from the start, leading 86 laps and winning the first two stages before weather interrupted the event. The race was red-flagged after lightning and rain on Lap 108, with Blaney scored as the leader when the stoppage came on Lap 109 of 260. A long track-drying period followed before racing resumed after midnight.

After the delay, Blaney stayed near the front in the closing laps and held off Carson Hocevar and Wallace before making the decisive move in overtime. Wallace finished second, Christopher Bell was third, Hocevar was fourth and Ty Gibbs was fifth. Kyle Larson spun during the race and finished 34th after two late incidents following contact with Denny Hamlin, who finished 12th. The field had been set with Blaney on the pole, Joey Logano second and Larson third.
