Iron Lynx Unveils Driver Lineup for 2025 WEC

Italian racing team Iron Lynx has announced its driver lineup and liveries for the upcoming 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), featuring two Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 cars. The #60 entry will include a trio of experienced drivers: Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni, and former Lamborghini factory driver Matteo Cairoli. Meanwhile, the #61 car will be piloted by Christian Ried, Maxime Martin—fresh from his previous stint at BMW—and promising rookie Lin Hodenius. Each vehicle will showcase distinctive liveries, with the #60 car in yellow and the #61 in black, symbolizing the team’s and manufacturer’s rich histories.

Team Principal Andrea Piccini expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Mercedes-AMG and praised the diverse experience within the driver lineup, particularly noting rookie Hodenius's potential. This season marks a significant moment as Mercedes-AMG returns to endurance racing, participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time in over 25 years. The team's competitive spirit is palpable as they prepare for testing and the season opener at the Qatar 1812km race on February 28, with a group test scheduled for February 21-22.
