Liam Lawson Begins Red Bull Racing Preparations With Private Test

Liam Lawson has officially begun preparations for his debut season with Red Bull in 2025, following a private test at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain. This outing in the championship-winning RB19 from the 2023 season allowed Lawson to familiarize himself with the car and engage with his new engineering and support team. After previously stepping in as a substitute driver for Daniel Ricciardo and impressing the team enough to earn a promotion, Lawson is set to replace the struggling Sergio Perez and partner with reigning champion Max Verstappen.
