LiMandri Steps In for Injured Dreher at The Ridge

Joseph LiMandri Jr., known as “Bazooka Joe,” will step in for injured Ella Dreher in MotoAmerica Supersport this weekend at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington. MP13 Racing named LiMandri as the fill-in rider for the #641 MV Agusta F3 RR, and team owner Melissa Paris said his name kept surfacing as the strongest replacement option. Paris said he was the team’s top choice and expressed confidence he can contribute alongside Avery Dreher.

Dreher is recovering from injuries suffered in a racing incident at Barber Motorsports Park. LiMandri said he was grateful for the opportunity and sent Dreher his best wishes for a speedy recovery. He also said he was ready to help move the team forward.

LiMandri arrives with experience in MotoAmerica Junior Cup, Twins Cup, Supersport and the Daytona 200. He recently tested the MV Agusta F3 RR at New Jersey Motorsports Park, and Paris pointed to his recent form after a strong showing at the 103rd Loudon Classic in New Hampshire, where he qualified fifth and finished fourth. The Supersport schedule at The Ridge begins Friday morning with Practice 1 and Qualifying 1, with more qualifying and racing set for Saturday and Sunday.
