Riggs sweeps TSport 200, extends Truck Series lead

Layne Riggs won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series TSport 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday night, leading 198 of 200 laps from the pole in the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports truck. He swept both stages, earned his fifth victory of the 2026 season and the 10th Truck Series win of his career.

Connor Mosack finished second in a career-best result, while Ty Majeski, Chandler Smith and Nick Sanchez followed in the top five. Riggs pulled away after the race’s lone caution and held off Mosack in the closing laps.

The only caution came on Lap 138 after a crash that brought out a red flag for cleanup, with reports differing on the full list of drivers involved. Sources named Daniel Hemric and Landen Lewis, and other reports also listed Christian Eckes, Jake Hemric and Toni Butcher. The victory extended Riggs’ points lead to 99 over Kaden Honeycutt with two regular-season races left. Smith, Christian Eckes and Gio Ruggiero clinched Chase spots, and Stewart Friesen moved into the final Chase-eligible position, eight points ahead of Tyler Ankrum.
