Ryan Blaney goes undercover as 'Hamish Wimsley' at Penske

Prime Video debuted a new episode of Eli Manning Presents: The Undercovers that spotlights NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney. Prime Video released the episode’s official trailer and key art and offered an exclusive preview clip; the episode and clip are available to stream in more than 240 countries and territories. The launch was timed to lead into Prime Video’s live NASCAR Cup Series coverage from Pocono Raceway at 2 p.m. ET on June 14 and formed part of Prime Video’s promotion for its NASCAR programming.

In the installment, Eli Manning recruited Blaney to go undercover as “Hamish Wimsley” at the Team Penske race shop in Mooresville, North Carolina. The episode shows Blaney testing prosthetic makeup on teammate Scott McLaughlin, quietly touring superfans through the NextGen assembly line and historic Penske cars, and staging a private pit-crew competition.

The segment culminates with Blaney revealing his identity during a staged go-kart outing. The episode blends behind-the-scenes shop access with lighthearted practical jokes and fan interactions, and the appearance surprised some of Blaney’s biggest fans.

The episode was produced by Range Studios and Ten Till Productions. Executive producers included Mark Herwick, Simon Andreae, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Tim Brown, Jamie Horowitz and J.D. Amato, with Amato serving as showrunner. The Undercovers was nominated in the Outstanding Edited Sports Series: Hosted category at the 2026 Sports Emmy Awards. Prime Video presented the installment as a personality-driven feature to extend Penske’s fan engagement and complement its live race coverage.
