Susie Wolff and Amna Al Qubaisi Join TIME100 Sports List

Susie Wolff and Amna Al Qubaisi were named to TIME’s inaugural 2026 TIME100 Most Influential People in Sports list, which TIME said was its first edition decided solely on sport. They were among several motorsport figures on the list, including Lando Norris and Kimi Antonelli, and were two of 45 women named.

Susie Wolff, managing director of F1 Academy, was named in TIME’s "Innovators" category for leading the series and building a pipeline of drivers to F1. TIME highlighted her institutional influence in junior driver development and noted her prominent role on Netflix’s Drive to Survive, which is spawning a spin-off titled F1: The Academy.

Amna Al Qubaisi, 26, was named in the list’s "Leaders" category after recording two wins in her debut 2023 F1 Academy season and competing again in 2024. TIME noted her move up to the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Pro class in 2026, where she became the first woman to race in that class and posted three consecutive top-10 finishes in the first six races. TIME framed those milestones as steps toward greater female representation in top-level GT racing.

Kimi Antonelli was featured for rising to lead the F1 World Championship earlier in 2026 while completing school exams, and Lando Norris appeared in the list’s "Icons" section alongside other global sports stars.
