Tina Hausmann Returns for F1 Academy 2025

Aston Martin has confirmed the return of Swiss driver Tina Hausmann for the 2025 F1 Academy season, where she will continue her collaboration with PREMA Racing. After finishing 10th in the 2024 Drivers’ Standings and achieving her best result of fourth at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, Hausmann expressed gratitude for the support from Aston Martin, which has been instrumental in her growth and memorable experiences. Jessica Hawkins, Aston Martin's Head of F1 Academy and Driver Ambassador, is enthusiastic about Hausmann's improvements in skills and confidence from the previous season, anticipating a strong performance in her sophomore year.

At 18, Hausmann is entering her third year in single-seater racing and plans to continue developing as a driver with the backing of established teams. She began her racing career with AKM Motorsport, where she earned podium finishes in the Formula Winter Series, but faced challenges in the Italian F4 series. Additionally, the F1 Academy has announced Wei Shi as a wildcard driver for the opening round in Shanghai, with reports suggesting that Farah Al Yousef may join as a wildcard for the second round in Jeddah, although official confirmation is still pending.
