Upper Deck Marks Space Jam's 30th With Bubba Wallace NASCAR Promo

Upper Deck is marking the 30th anniversary of Space Jam with a NASCAR promotion built around Bubba Wallace and a special No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE that is set to run in the July 5 NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway. The campaign, a collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and 23XI Racing, ties Wallace’s car to the film’s legacy and Michael Jordan’s basketball connection through the 23XI team.
The promotion also pushes a wide range of collectibles. Upper Deck is releasing Space Jam trading cards on its e-Pack platform, including a card of the Space Jam-themed car and a second card of Wallace in his Space Jam firesuit on July 2. The company is also producing a Space Jam 30th anniversary trading card set, a later Skybox Metal Universe Space Jam 30th Anniversary set with autographs from Jordan and other talent, Curated licensed prints, Upper Deck Authenticated memorabilia, a limited-edition Lionel diecast signed by Wallace, and a separate memorabilia collection with signed items, new 5D display technology and autographed Air Jordan sneakers. The release also includes two 23XI x Space Jam crossover cards, with one available through July 2 and the second from July 2 through July 9.
Upper Deck will host a public watch party at Chicago’s Navy Pier on July 2, where the Space Jam-themed car will be on display. The event is set to include giveaways, personalized trading cards, food and an exclusive print for attendees.
