WEC releases São Paulo entry list with key lineup changes
Summary
The FIA World Endurance Championship released the entry list for the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo, a 35-car field that will take to Interlagos from July 10-12 in the fourth round of the 2026 season and the championship’s first flyaway race. The list centers on several lineup changes across Hypercar and LMGT3, with multiple cars set to run reduced crews for the Brazilian round.
Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA confirmed that its No. 12 V-Series.R will run with only Will Stevens and Norman Nato after Alex Lynn was ruled out by a neck injury. Lynn has undergone surgery after Le Mans, and Louis Deletraz, who had filled in at Spa and Le Mans, is not entered. The No. 12 Cadillac is one of three Hypercar entries using only two drivers, alongside the two Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Valkyries, one shared by Tom Gamble and Harry Tincknell and the other by Alex Riberas and Marco Sorensen.
In LMGT3, Heart of Racing has put Kobe Pauwels back in the No. 23 Aston Martin in place of Eduardo Barrichello, who will miss the race because of WeatherTech Championship commitments. TF Sport has replaced Nicky Catsburg with Nico Varrone in the No. 33 Corvette because Catsburg has a scheduling conflict at Mosport, and Akkodis ASP Team will bring Esteban Masson back in the No. 78 Lexus after his Le Mans LMP2 appearance. Toyota arrives as the Hypercar favorite after its sixth Le Mans win, with BMW, Ferrari and Cadillac also expected to contend.
