Bortoleto Wins Thrilling Formula 2 Championship

Gabriel Bortoleto clinched the Formula 2 championship in a thrilling finale at Abu Dhabi, becoming the fourth driver to win back-to-back titles in both Formula 3 and Formula 2. His journey to the championship was marked by a crucial moment when title rival Isack Hadjar stalled at the start of the race, allowing Bortoleto to gain a significant advantage. Although he finished second behind Joshua Duerksen, his consistent performance throughout the season secured his title. Duerksen's victory was notable as it marked his first F2 feature race win, finishing 1.791 seconds ahead of Bortoleto.

Bortoleto's achievement also made him the second Brazilian F2 champion in three years, highlighting his resilience and growth as a driver, particularly through challenges faced in earlier racing competitions.
