Cook Out Clash Revives Cup Series at Bowman Gray

The 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium promises a dynamic racing experience, reintroducing the Cup Series to this historic venue after over five decades. The event will kick off with multiple practice sessions, where competitors can set the pace for their subsequent races. Following practice, drivers will participate in four heat races, each consisting of 25 laps, with the top five from each heat advancing to the main event.

For those not qualifying through the heats, a 75-lap Last Chance Qualifier will be available, allowing the top two finishers from this race to secure additional spots in the main competition. The grand finale will feature 23 drivers competing over 200 laps, which includes a mandatory halfway break at lap 100. The lineup for the main race will be informed by performances throughout the earlier segments, alongside an extra slot reserved for a notable driver from the prior season who did not qualify. This innovative format aims to enhance competition and excitement, setting the stage for an unforgettable return to Bowman Gray Stadium.
