Lewis Hamilton's Qualifying Session Cut Short by Suspension Issue

Lewis Hamilton's qualifying session for the United States Grand Prix was abruptly ended due to a suspension issue on his Mercedes W15. The problem began during the F1 Sprint Race earlier in the day, which the team attempted to fix but ultimately didn't resolve. As a result, Hamilton was eliminated in Q1 and will start Sunday's race at the back of the field. He attributed the issue to a problem with the front suspension, which caused him to struggle with braking and snap oversteer on the exit of Turn 12. Hamilton expressed his disappointment with his car's performance, labeling it a "nightmare." He set a time good enough for 19th, his worst-ever qualifying performance at COTA. The driver is considering starting from the pit lane on Sunday to allow his crew to make further set-up changes to his car and give him a fighting chance.
