Peter Crolla Joins Cadillac for F1 Debut

Peter Crolla, the former Team Manager for Haas, has joined Cadillac's Formula 1 project as they gear up for their debut in the 2026 season. With extensive experience since Haas's establishment in 2015, Crolla’s expertise will be pivotal as Cadillac develops its custom power unit and gearbox and strengthens its team infrastructure. Cadillac's management recognizes the pressing timeline, noting that they must be race-ready in under 400 days.

Crolla's transition implies significant changes at Haas, where his responsibilities will be redistributed between Mark Lowe and Neil Hanley, who will take on the roles of sporting director and trackside operations manager, respectively. Alongside Crolla, veteran F1 figure Pat Symonds has also been appointed as a consultant to oversee the development of Cadillac's new team. This strategic staffing signals Cadillac's commitment to establishing a competitive presence in Formula 1, as they prepare for final approval from the FIA.
