Sami Meguetounif Shines in Barcelona Testing Finale

Sami Meguetounif of Trident emerged as the standout performer on the final day of pre-season testing in Barcelona, clocking an impressive fastest lap of 1:24.363 during the afternoon session. The day began with Victor Martins of ART leading the morning session, posting a time of 1:24.673 under wet track conditions following overnight rain. Numerous red flags disrupted the day's activities due to spins and incidents involving several drivers, including Kush Maini and Christian Mansell.

Meguetounif showcased his prowess by quickly lowering the fastest time and maintaining a lead of over a second for much of the session. He ultimately reclaimed the lead in the final hour, finishing ahead of Alexander Dunne and Arvid Lindblad, who secured second and third, respectively. Overall, 22 drivers participated, highlighting the fierce competition as teams used this essential testing period to gather valuable data ahead of the 2025 FIA F2 Championship, which kicks off next month.
