    Summary

Invicta Racing locked out the front row in F2 qualifying at Barcelona-Catalunya. Rafael Câmara (also shown as Camara) took pole with a 1:24.810. Joshua Duerksen (also reported as Durksen) set 1:24.945 for second to complete a 1-2 for Invicta Racing. Alexander Dunne (also listed as Alex Dunne) was third for Rodin Motorsport with a 1:25.035. During the session Dunne briefly moved into second after an earlier lap was deleted for track limits. The session was then interrupted by a red flag when Ritomo Miyata crashed. After the restart Duerksen split the Invicta cars. The full 22-car field was covered by less than 1.5 seconds on the grid.

In Friday practice Trident’s Laurens van Hoepen topped the times with a 1:26.776, 0.051 seconds clear of Roman Bilinski, with Dunne third. Drivers reported difficulty getting heat into their tyres, which limited late improvements. The run was stopped when Noel León spun into the gravel, and no competitors improved after the restart. Practice’s top 10 also included Rafael Villagómez, Martinius Stenshorne, Gabriele Minì, Rafael Câmara, Colton Herta, Nikola Tsolov and Sebastián Montoya.

The F2 Sprint Race is scheduled for Saturday at 14:15 local time, with Noel León due to start from the reverse-grid pole.
