Late restart lifts Grant Enfinger to Lime Rock victory
Summary
Grant Enfinger won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, taking the lead on the final restart with three laps left and holding off Landen Lewis by 0.483 seconds. The victory was Enfinger’s first career road course win and his first Truck Series win in more than a season. He drove for CR7 Motorsports.
The race featured late cautions and an 18-minute red flag, and the final 40 laps included four cautions. Kaden Honeycutt finished third after recovering from a late multi-car crash, while Parker Kligerman was fourth and Christian Eckes fifth. Daniel Hemric, Andres Perez de Lara, Tanner Gray, Stewart Friesen and Colin Braun rounded out the top 10. Thomas Annunziata was running second with 22 laps left when a fire ended his race, and he finished 29th after being taken for further evaluation.
Riggs started on the pole, won Stage 1 and led 48 laps before damage left him 23rd. Honeycutt won Stage 2. Riggs still led Honeycutt by 44 points with four regular-season races left, while Enfinger moved up to ninth in the standings and into the top 10 that advances to the Chase.
