Rajah Caruth returns in No. 7 for Kyle Busch; Chastain entered

    The Allegiance 200 at Nashville Superspeedway will field 38 trucks Friday night in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, including five full-time O’Reilly Auto Parts Series regulars stepping up: Brandon Jones (No. 1), William Sawalich (No. 5), Rajah Caruth (No. 7), Parker Retzlaff (No. 62) and Jesse Love (No. 77). Defending race winner Rajah Caruth will drive the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in the entry originally scheduled for Kyle Busch. Cup Series regular Ross Chastain is entered in the No. 45 Chevrolet for Niece Motorsports.

    Rain canceled qualifying after only a handful of trucks had run, so NASCAR set the starting field by the rule book. Layne Riggs was awarded the pole in the No. 34 Ford; Kaden Honeycutt was credited with second and Jesse Love with third. Giovanni Ruggiero was fourth and Christian Eckes fifth. Ben Rhodes was sixth, William Sawalich eighth and Daniel Hemric tenth. Ross Chastain, Chandler Smith and Frankie Muniz were credited with 21st, 22nd and 26th, respectively.

    Officials had scheduled practice for 4 p.m. ET and Kennametal Pole Qualifying for 5:05 p.m. ET before rain halted the session. Photos from the weekend show practice and pit-road activity and illustrate the lineup-setting effects of the weather-hit qualifying. Christian Eckes led all 150 laps in his 2024 Nashville victory, the most laps led at the track since the Truck Series returned in 2021.

    ThorSport’s Ben Rhodes has the best average finish among full-time Truck drivers at Nashville since 2021 (9.8), with Eckes second (10.0). With eight races remaining to set the 10-driver Playoff field, Kaden Honeycutt leads Layne Riggs by 38 points; Chandler Smith is one point behind Riggs. Ninth-place Stewart Friesen and 12th-place Daniel Hemric are separated by 14 points.

    The Allegiance 200 is the 11th points-paying event of the 2026 Truck Series season and is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, with radio coverage on the NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Nashville Superspeedway is a 1.33-mile oval.
