Aerodynamic Upgrades Abound at the United States Grand Prix

McLaren and Mercedes are among the teams bringing significant upgrades to the United States Grand Prix. Mercedes has altered the front wing, front suspension, floor edge and fences, sidepod, and engine cover, while McLaren has introduced changes to the front wing, front and rear corners, front suspension, and beam wing. Sauber and Haas have also made notable upgrades, with Sauber focusing on improving front tyre flow structures and Haas altering the shape of the sidepod inlet to improve airflow.

McLaren's changes include a new front wing, front suspension package, and rear suspension fairings, as well as a new rear brake duct cooling exit. Mercedes has also brought a new front wing and front suspension package, which is designed to reduce front wing wake and improve flow to the rear of the car. The team has also introduced a new floor with a new floor edge wing and reprofiled floor fences. Additionally, Mercedes is introducing a "substantial" update to their W15 car, featuring changes to the front wing, front suspension, floor edge, sidepod inlet, and engine cover, aimed at improving flow conditioning and local load.
