Andres Perez de Lara Joins Spire Motorsports for 2025

Andres Perez de Lara, the reigning champion of the ARCA Menards Series, has secured a full-time position with Spire Motorsports for the upcoming 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. Driving the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado, the 19-year-old will be aiming for Rookie of the Year honors, building on his recent success in ARCA. His debut Truck Series race last year at World Wide Technology Raceway resulted in a commendable ninth-place finish, showcasing his potential.

Under the mentorship of seasoned crew chief Chad Walter, who brings significant NASCAR experience to the team, Perez de Lara is poised to take on fresh challenges in the competitive landscape of NASCAR. Spire co-owner Jeff Dickerson expressed his confidence in Perez de Lara's talent and his fit within the team, emphasizing the young driver’s accomplishments, including being the first Mexican-born driver to win an ARCA national title. The 2025 season is set to commence on February 14 at Daytona International Speedway, marking a significant milestone in Perez de Lara's racing career.
