Aston Martin Confirms Signing of Adrian Newey

Adrian Newey, widely regarded as the greatest F1 designer in history, will join Aston Martin as its Managing Technical Partner on a £30m-a-year salary, on a quest to help the team become a world championship contender. With 13 drivers' championships and 12 constructors' titles under his belt, Newey's expertise is seen as a guarantee of success in F1.

Newey, a renowned car designer and aerodynamicist, has negotiated his release from Red Bull and is expected to start his new role on March 1, 2025, ahead of the design work for Aston Martin's 2026 car. He will join a team that includes Dan Fallows, Enrico Cardile, and Andy Cowell, and will work alongside Fernando Alonso. Newey's unique qualities, including his ability to visualize airflow and design aerodynamically efficient cars, have led to his impressive track record. He will be the design lead for the team and is expected to bring his expertise to help Aston Martin become a world championship contender within a couple of years.
