Aston Martin Clarifies Technical Director Dan Fallows' Exit

Dan Fallows has stepped down as Aston Martin's technical director following the team's disappointing performance this season. While his tenure saw valuable contributions, particularly in the development of the 2022 and 2023 cars, ongoing development issues and a notable drop in performance since the start of the 2024 season led to this performance-based decision. According to performance director Tom McCullough, the team's inability to meet its expected results ultimately prompted Fallows' exit.

Aston Martin asserts that it possesses the necessary personnel and structure to manage Fallows' responsibilities internally, without bringing in an external replacement. Bob Bell will temporarily assume Fallows' role until a permanent solution is identified. Looking ahead, the team is set to welcome former Ferrari technical director Enrico Cardile next year along with prominent figure Adrian Newey in 2025. Aston Martin is hopeful that these changes will help improve their standing in the constructors' championship, where they have struggled to move beyond fifth place.
