Ferrari has appointed Loic Serra, a 52-year-old engineer, as their new chassis technical director, replacing Enrico Cardile. Serra previously worked at Mercedes as performance director and will start his new role on October 1, overseeing key departments including chassis project engineering, vehicle performance, aerodynamics, track engineering, and chassis operations.

Serra will report directly to Team Principal Fred Vasseur and will head up a seven-person team. He will work alongside Enrico Gualtieri, who continues as power-unit technical director. The appointment comes after a reassessment of the team's technical structure following Cardile's departure.
