António Félix Da Costa of Porsche showcased a dominant performance during F1's second free practice session for the Jeddah E-Prix, clocking a record lap time of 1:15.470. Following closely were Maximilian Günther from DS and Jake Hughes from Maserati, who finished in second and third, respectively. The session displayed competitive speeds among the drivers, with Norman Nato finishing fourth and Oliver Rowland rounding out the top five.

However, the practice session was not without disruptions. Two red flags were issued: one due to Robin Frijns experiencing brake issues, and the other resulting from a collision between Stoffel Vandoorne and Nyck De Vries late in the session. Despite these incidents, both Vandoorne and De Vries were able to return to the pits without major injury. As the Jeddah event marks the inaugural double-header of the GEN3 Evo era, it is set for February 14 and 15, 2025, creating anticipation for upcoming qualifying rounds and the race itself.
