DeFrancesco Joins RLL for 2025 IndyCar Season

Devlin DeFrancesco will return to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for the 2025 season, joining Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) as the driver of the No. 30 Honda in a multi-year deal. The 24-year-old Canadian previously competed with Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport, racking up 34 starts but achieving a best finish of 12th. After sitting out the 2024 season, DeFrancesco expressed enthusiasm about joining RLL, a team with a rich history in the sport and aspirations for future success.

This move comes as RLL undergoes significant changes, with two-thirds of its previous lineup replaced, including the departure of lead driver Christian Lundgaard. RLL co-owner Bobby Rahal has conveyed confidence in DeFrancesco's capabilities, having observed his competitive spirit in past performances. As DeFrancesco joins veterans like Graham Rahal and rookie Louis Foster, anticipation builds for the upcoming season, which will commence on March 2, 2025, at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
