Hendrick Motorsports Signs Rising Star Corey Day

Hendrick Motorsports is set to welcome 19-year-old dirt racing phenom Corey Day under a multi-year driver agreement, allowing him to participate in various pavement series throughout 2025. Hailing from Clovis, California, Day boasts a successful track record in dirt racing, including a championship win in the 2023 King of the West 410 NARC series. Recently, he showcased his versatility by clinching victory at Hickory Motor Speedway during only his second late model start, underscoring his rapid adaptability to pavement racing.

With sponsorship from HendrickCars.com, Day is scheduled to compete in nearly 30 events in 2025, covering the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and Trans Am Series. Day expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and his eagerness to learn and grow within the Hendrick team. Additionally, Dean Thompson will make his full-time debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Sam Hunt Racing, while renowned four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves prepares for the Daytona 500 by participating in an ARCA Menards Series entry.
