IndyCar Drivers Gear Up for Thermal Club Race

IndyCar drivers recently participated in a testing session at The Thermal Club, gearing up for the upcoming points race slated for March 21-23, 2025. Tim Rogers, CEO of the club, expressed enthusiasm for hosting such a prestigious event, highlighting the exclusivity of the venue while aiming to create a memorable experience for both competitors and attendees. The event will take place on the challenging 3.067-mile Twin Palms course, which boasts 19 turns and has been tailored to accommodate a full lineup of 34 cars.

Drivers like Louis Foster and Logan Sargeant shared insights on the track's distinct challenges, which have earned it recognition despite prior concerns about grip and tire wear. The anticipated race is projected to draw 6,000 to 7,000 fans, aligning with the club’s objectives to enhance the member experience and stimulate property sales, positioning this event as a significant milestone in both the IndyCar calendar and the club's future ambitions.
