Mercedes Unveils W16 Car for 2025 Season

Mercedes has introduced its 2025 F1 car, the W16, marking a new phase for the team as they enter the season without Lewis Hamilton for the first time since 2012. George Russell steps into a leadership role alongside rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the youngest driver in Mercedes' history. The W16 features a sleek silver and black livery with updated aerodynamic surfaces and a redesigned front suspension to enhance performance, particularly in slow corners and tire temperature management.

The team's preparations have been extensive, focusing on addressing the struggles faced by the W15, which experienced performance inconsistencies. Technical Director James Allison acknowledged the challenge of making improvements under established regulations but expressed confidence in the new car's ability to meet expectations.
