Monza Grand Prix Secured Through 2031

Formula 1 has officially confirmed a six-year extension for the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit, ensuring its presence until 2031. This announcement underscores Monza’s historical significance and its status as the oldest track on the F1 calendar, which began hosting the Italian GP in 1950, with a single interruption in 1980. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali celebrated the decision, noting the track's unique atmosphere and passionate fan base, as well as recent upgrades that improve infrastructure and facilities.
