Red Bull Revamps Racing Team Structure for 2025

Red Bull Racing is undergoing a restructuring of its team, with Gianpiero Lambiase promoted to Head of Racing and Stephen Knowles taking on the role of Head of Sporting Regulations. Lambiase, Max Verstappen's long-standing race engineer, will continue to work with Verstappen and oversee all trackside activities, reporting to Technical Director Pierre Wache.

The changes aim to improve operational sharpness and maximize performance on race weekends. As part of the restructuring, Lambiase will take on overall responsibility for the team's strategy group and sporting regulations operations, alongside heading up Red Bull's race, heritage, and car build teams. He will also remain the voice in Verstappen's ear on the pit wall. Knowles will focus on sporting regulations, ensuring the team is well-prepared for the 2025 season. The promotions are part of a broader restructure within Red Bull following the departure of sporting director Jonathan Wheatley, who will join Audi's new F1 team in 2025.
