Robert Kubica Extends WEC Journey with AF Corse

Robert Kubica will continue his participation with the AF Corse team in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) for the 2025 season, joining factory driver Yifei Ye and newcomer Phil Hanson. Kubica’s commitment to the team comes after a mixed season, which included a victory at the Circuit of the Americas. He expressed a strong desire to further build on their past experiences, indicating that there is still significant work to be done despite the team's previous successes.

Discussions regarding Kubica's new contract took place during the WEC finale in Bahrain, with both the AF Corse team and Ferrari showing a keen interest in retaining him. Meanwhile, Robert Shwartzman is set to leave Ferrari’s lineup at the end of the season, transitioning to Prema's new IndyCar team. Kubica remains optimistic about the upcoming challenges, stressing the value of the lessons learned from the previous year.
