Alisha Palmowski Joins Red Bull's F1 Academy Team

Red Bull Racing has announced that Alisha Palmowski will represent them in the 2025 F1 Academy season, driving for Campos Racing alongside teammates Chloe Chambers and Rafaela Ferreira. The 18-year-old, hailing from Derbyshire, has a notable karting background, claiming the Junior Vice Champion title in the Daniel Ricciardo Series and finishing as a Vice Champion in the GB4 Championship. Her strong performance as a Wild Card entrant at the Qatar Grand Prix demonstrated her potential, finishing fifth in her debut race. Expressing her gratitude for joining the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Programme, Palmowski emphasized her commitment to achieving success in the upcoming season.

Sarah Harrington, the Red Bull Academy Programme Manager, commended Palmowski for her contributions and potential. Palmowski, who grew up in a motorsport-focused family, ignited her passion for racing through karting during visits to her grandparents. Over time, her achievements, including a Ginetta Junior scholarship, have alleviated financial pressures, allowing her to focus on her racing career. She believes that the F1 Academy is a crucial platform for promoting female talent in a sport traditionally dominated by men, and she aims to inspire future generations of female racers through her journey in motorsport. The team also extended their gratitude to departing driver Hamda Al Qubaisi for her contributions over the past two seasons.
