Oliver Bearman, a 19-year-old British driver, will replace Kevin Magnussen at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix due to Magnussen's one-race ban for exceeding the sport's penalty-point limit. Bearman has prior Formula One experience, having replaced Carlos Sainz at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix earlier this year and participating in FP1 sessions for Haas.

Bearman has already been signed by Haas for next season and will partner Esteban Ocon in 2025. He will make his second F1 appearance at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, having impressed in his debut outing earlier this year. Bearman's experience as a super-sub driver and his familiarity with the Haas car from free practice outings this season make him an obvious choice to step up as one of the team's reserve drivers.
