Norris Sets the Pace in Singapore FP2

    Lando Norris led the way in the second practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix, setting a time of 1:30.727s and edging out Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 0.058s. Alex Albon also had a strong session, clocking a 1:32.238 on the mediums to go fastest among the midfield runners.

    The top three drivers were separated by less than half a second, with the rest of the field over a second behind. Lewis Hamilton struggled with understeer issues and missed out on the top 10, while Norris's teammate Oscar Piastri finished fifth. George Russell's Mercedes crashed at Turn 8 in the closing minutes, bringing out a red flag and briefly interrupting the session. Norris's performance will be a positive sign for McLaren ahead of the weekend's qualifying and the main event.
