Zak O'Sullivan Joins Envision Racing for E-Prix

Envision Racing has officially signed 19-year-old Zak O'Sullivan to participate in the Rookie Free Practice session at the upcoming Jeddah E-Prix, which will be held on February 14 and 15, 2025. This opportunity marks O'Sullivan's debut in Formula E, building upon his strong background in motorsport that includes karting success and competitive stints in the GB3 Championship and Formula 2. The young driver, who is currently part of Kondo Racing in the Super Formula series in Japan, is eager to gain as much experience as possible during this session and collaborate with his new team.

The Rookie Free Practice will last for 40 minutes, specifically designed for those who have yet to compete in a Formula E event. Envision Racing's Team Principal, Sylvain Filippi, expressed enthusiasm about bringing O'Sullivan into the fold, noting his impressive racing credentials and potential. O'Sullivan, a former Williams Academy driver, has demonstrated promise throughout his career, and this opportunity in the all-electric series could be a pivotal moment as he transitions into one of Formula E's innovative GEN3 Evo race cars.
