Rivera passes Slater on lap 12 to win Belgian GP feature

Ernesto Rivera won the F3 feature race at Spa-Francorchamps on the Belgian GP weekend, taking his first feature-race victory and second win of the 2026 season. The Campos Racing driver started fourth and made the decisive move on lap 12 to pass pole-sitter Freddie Slater before pulling clear to win by 1.685 seconds over Hiyu Yamakoshi of Van Amersfoort Racing.

Slater lost places at the start, fought back to the lead and finished third after Rivera’s move. Ugo Ugochukwu failed to score for a second straight race, dropping to 21st after running as high as ninth, while Slater moved to within one point of the championship lead on 103 points. Campos Racing extended its teams’ championship lead from 49 points to 57, with Rivera its only scorer.
