Marco Andretti to Race 20th Indy 500

Marco Andretti is set to make his 20th appearance at the Indianapolis 500 on May 25, 2025, driving the MAPEI-sponsored No. 98 Honda for Andretti Herta. This marked partnership with MAPEI, a leading manufacturer in building chemicals, signifies a continuation of their collaboration following a successful inaugural season at the event. Over his Indianapolis 500 career, Andretti has recorded impressive achievements, including a pole position, four top-three finishes, and eight top-10 results.

Doug Bresnahan, Chief Commercial Officer at Andretti Global, expressed enthusiasm for the renewed sponsorship with MAPEI, noting the enhanced prospects it brings to their NTT IndyCar Series program. MAPEI's involvement also extends to the full-time sponsorship of driver Kyle Kirkwood’s No. 27 Honda during the upcoming season, which kicks off on March 2 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. As the season approaches, MAPEI’s CEO, Luigi Di Geso, highlighted the alignment of values between their company and Andretti Global, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting racing season ahead.
